Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is Yash's much-awaited action-thriller film, directed by Geetu Mohandas. Along with Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth will be seen in important roles in the film. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on 26 August 2026 and will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English along with Kannada.

The story of the film is set in an interesting historical period of Goa. According to the official synopsis, Goa was under Portuguese control even after India's independence. Amidst this political and social environment, the character named Raya faces a dangerous world, where power, betrayal, violence and morality compete with each other.

Yash is playing the role of Raya in the film. Raya seems like a character who is quite different from the ordinary hero. A world of crime, power and complicated relationships has been created around him. The film's subtitle “A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups” also indicates that this is not a traditional fairy tale, but a dark and mature interpretation for adults.

The special thing about Toxic is its period setting and stylish presentation. Rajeev Ravi is handling the cinematography, while the music is by Ravi Basrur.

The trailer has created more curiosity about the film. Psychological and emotional elements can also be important along with action in Toxic. The biggest question is how far will Raya go for power and what will be the price of her choices.
