Awarapan 2 was awaited for a long time by the audience who liked 2007's Awarapan. The first film was not a huge success at the box office, but over time it gained cult film status. This is the reason why the audience's expectations from its sequel were very high.

The story of the film revolves around Shivam Pandit. He has tried to move away from the world of crime, but circumstances pull him back into the same dark world. This time he faces a mission in which crime, danger and human emotions are linked together.

In Awarapan 2, importance has been given to both action and emotion. The action sequences and pace of the story in the initial part of the film keep the audience engaged. Locations like Bangkok give the film a different visual appeal.

Emraan Hashmi has once again left his mark in the character of Shivam. His eyes and facial expressions bring out the pain hidden within the character. Disha Patani's character adds an emotional aspect to the story.

However, the film does not maintain the same pace everywhere. The story feels slow at some places in the second half and the climax could have been shortened a bit. Still, the action, music and Imran's performance make the film worth watching.
